if you are in los angeles i highly recommend stopping by to see this show. mona's work is gorgeous and vibrant and a little mysterious as she herself is.

M+B is pleased to announce an exhibition of Mona Kuhn’s latest series Native, opening October 24 and running through December 5, with a reception and book signing for the artist on Saturday, October 24 from 7 to 9 p.m. Shot entirely in her native country of Brazil, this series marks a 20 year return for the artist best known for her alluring figurative studies in a French naturist colony. Kuhn described the work as “a personal journey . . . [like] a bird that flies back into the forest, searching for its childhood’s nest . . .
