aptos retreat

aptos retreat located inland from the beach town of aptos, california in the santa cruz mountains by ccs architecture.

the house was designed for a san francisco couple with six children and is comprised of 2 buildings with one roof extending over the other. the two structures make up the main house and are clad in reclaimed barn timber with corten roofs. the property includes the main house, a barn/club house, two guest cabins, a swimming pool, archery range & sauna. maybe they won't notice a 7th child?
