as a kid there was something magical about taking a photograph. you would have to wait until the roll of film was used and then you would take it to the photo hut to develop. (we had a small drive through photo hut in a parking lot that was about the size of a small vw car!) it would take about a week and you were never really sure what would be in the envelope when you picked it up. the ubiquitous thumb in the corner, the blurred photos, the forgotten pictures - it was always a thrill. you would worry about any nudity - god forbid some old man or pasty teen saw your tatas. you would savor the memories of the past weeks and sometimes even months. then there was the fascination of looking at the negatives ... oh la la. quite a different experience. now we just delete instantly and rarely even make prints instead just uploading.
well, now you can download and make your own pinhole camera from artist jaroslav jurica with easy to read directions! let me know if anyone makes one....i can't wait!
