vogue uk is reporting that 73 year old actor & director peter fonda is suing both dolce & gabbana & the department store nordstroms for using his name & image without permission.
fonda filed a complaint on friday in a california court, referring specifically to a selection of t-shirts that featured his character in easy rider - the 1969 film that he wrote, produced & starred in. he is seeking $6 million in compensation, as well as legal fees & all the profits made from the sale of the t-shirts.
a spokesperson for dolce & gabbana declined to comment this morning.
