dolce & gabbana showed their debut couture collection "alta moda" in sicily over a 36 hour period starting sunday & ending yesterday morning. the show was held in the remote seaside town of taormina.
the guest list was extremely tight - only 3 newspapers (the telegraph, le figaro & corriere della sera), the international editions of vogue & some of their private clients were flown in via private jets & then ferried to the island.
