the house of architect pedro useche
the house of architect pedro useche. são paulo, brazil.
such a great place - looks lived in & loved. what makes the house so unique is that all furniture pieces are designed by the architect himself. local materials were used throughout the residence including local cumaru natural hardwood for the flooring of the communal areas. useche's art collection includes prominent contemporary brazilian artists such as rochelle costi, luis hermano, nazareth pacheco, stephan doitschinoff, valeska soares & amanda melo. the newly designed modern-day vintage-like furnishing blends with his art collection to stunning effects. the venezuelan architect/designer was exposed to the world of architecture & design at a young age during his studies in los angeles. he started his own architectural practice in 1984 in brazil.
