i love rock n' roll....

i really like this collection - nothing ground breaking & a bit regurgitated but still, lots of great jackets & blouses & skinny trousers that are sure to be worn by kate moss & alison mosshart & the like.   having said that, i would die for one of those smoking tuxedos!

in a new series for the saint laurent music project, hedi slimane photographed 3 legendary icons of rock n' roll & blues: chuck berry, b.b. king & jerry lee lewis.

shot in august & september as hedi road-tripped through the south & midwest seeking out his heroes he's admired since his teenage years, all 3 wear specially-made saint laurent suits.

b.b. king is shot on location in las vegas wearing a saint laurent le smoking suit while holding his electric guitar.chuck berry is photographed in st. louis, missouri wearing a saint laurent teddy tux accessorized with his signature captain's hat. finally, jerry lee lewis is pictured in a teddy tux with his beloved piano, photographed in nesbit, mississippi.
