we're all hookers

kell on earth premiered last night on bravo and it was genius. if you really want to see how the fashion industry works this is the show. there were so many genius moments, this is one just insight:

last year at fashion week she let ashley dupré (she was the call girl in the scandal involving new york governor, eliot spitzer) into the yigal azrouel show which prompted him to fire her immediately after. ashley comes to visit her in the offices and she says to her "we're all hookers. everyone's hookers. people are still so archaic. who's a hooker? am i a hooker? do i necessarily want to speak to my clients every day? no. do i have to talk to them because they're paying me money to give them good phone? hell yeah."

oh, and in the picture above she is telling her daughter that she has to sit in the third row at the fashion show. her daughter's response is that IF she has to sit 3rd row she's not dressing up.

kind of excited

so i'm kind of dying to see "kell on earth". it looks juicy and bitchy and it doesn't hurt that kelly cutrone's assistant, andrew mukamal, is hot. (sorry b i look the long haired boys!) i'm not sure if that's his bag he's holding but i'm hoping it's ms. roitfeld's. kelly is pretty brilliant in all the promos - i want to not like her but i think i do! also, someone i know near and dear is getting a t.v. and cable this week so i'm really, really hoping i can get him hooked on this show. we have a bet going on and if i can get him hooked on any t.v. show i will win those celine glasses or chloe ring, or hermes anything. conveniently, i can't remember what happens if he doesn't get hooked on a show. oh well!
