trends - spring 2014 - london

as usual, things got a little funkier in london.  one of the biggest trends (seen briefly & more subdued at marc jacobs in new york) was the graphic statement tee.

as with new york the predominant colors were pastel and black & white - or just white - with the addition of reds & purples. i must admit i'm quite partial to all white.

there weren't as many flats shown in london - although the same chunky slides & sandals were shown here & there.  it was all about the heel - spiked, chunky, clear plastic, floral, cut-out, strappy, with bows, wedges & laced up at tom ford.  i really thought the christopher kane rolled down mesh shoe was interesting & i loved the roksanda illincic boots. but, who am i kidding, i would take any of them!
