unhappy face

my computer is being very unhappy....getting a flashing question mark since last night and nothing I've tried has worked. of course, AppleCare is not opened until tomorrow. I've tried to post images from my iPad but still can't figure it out! Hopefully i'll be back tomorrow. in the meantime for all my fellow americans have a happy thanksgiving!
