somerset house in london presents story teller, showcasing the work of legendary british fashion photographer tim walker. walker is known for his fantastical, theatrical sets that are extravagant in scale & ambition & originality. 

the exhibition is accompanied by a series of events that feature many of walker's long-time collaborators & uncover the influences & stories behind his work. throughout the exhibition you can see a series of films specially curated by walker that have inspired & influenced many of his images, including cult movies such as la belle et la bĂȘte, the red shoes, a matter of life & death & his own first feature the lost explorer.

to coincide with the show, thames & hudson have published a book titled tim walker: story teller featuring 174 photographs, collages & snapshots from the photographer's personal archives.

the show runs through 27 january 2013.
