last night i dreamt that somebody loved me by the smiths.
the background film is wim wender's wings of desire.
this has to be one of my favorite films - it's just so beautiful....the cinematographer, henri alekan was 77 when this was filmed - he had worked on jean cocteau's la belle la bête in 1946 & roman holiday in 1953 among many others.
I adore this film and this song.
ReplyDeleteit was surprising that i couldn't find a youtube video of this song that wasn't from the 2000's! but this was a happy accident - it's a nice clip to go with the song.
