gertrud hantschk-arndt (1903-2000) studied at the bauhaus from 1921 - 1927, & worked as a teacher there between 1929 - 1932. she married the bauhaus school architect alfred arndt.  she studied architecture & textiles and was a self-taught photographer. i somehow think she would have loved the age of the internet.
