true grit
i blame my love of westerns & war movies on my second step-dad who dragged me off to see every western & war movie that was ever made. we saw bridge over the river kwai, the magnificent seven, the man who shot liberty vance & yes, true grit....and too many more to mention. i think i must have been in the 2nd & 3rd grade....i'm sure it was his idea of baby-sitting. he even made me watch the t.v. shows the rifleman, bonanza & the wild, wild, west. anyway, he instilled in me a deep love of all things western when it comes to entertainment. this movie looks AH-MAZING. i can't wait to see it! jeff bridges is the perfect rooster cogburn. can't wait!

this project is a prototype of a 3-dimensional modular & industrialized house that is built with two 40 ft. shipping containers. the aim of the project is to build a low cost house with a high focus on environmental issues. the design is simple: living area on the ground floor, 3 bedrooms on the first floor - the crossing of the two "boxes" provides a covered entrance and a carport. this prototype is the first of the B3 (built by boxes) concept.
