maison moschino

together with the moschino creative team & designer rossella jardini, stefano ugolini of hotelphilosphy have created the whimsically chic hotel, maison moschino. the hotel is located in the heart of milan and has 63 guestrooms & 2 junior suites. the rooms, with names like 'little red riding hood', 'clouds' and 'sleeping in a ballgown' offer guests a surreal hotel experience. the 19th century neoclassical facade reveals nothing unusual until guests step inside. the hotel's restaurant 'clandestino milano' has small lights in the ceilings to look like clouds & a bar light that was created from a stiletto boot. headed by italian chef moreno cedroni, the restaurant offers 'colourful sushi' creations that include a palate cleansing concoction of sake & mint. for breakfast there is the 'mos kit' that is served in a shoe box-like tray. room rates start at 270 euros.

yohji yamamoto presented his men's line in tokyo yesterday to 3,200 people watching from the 1964 olympic stadium.

trash by travelteq is designed for men but i want one! the bag is hand crafted from florentine vachetta leather and comes in cognac & black with linings in four different colors. inside are spaces for your 15" laptop, your phone, & your cigar tube (but of course). outside there are four small compartments for business cards, boarding passes and sunglasses. a 17" bag, cabin trolley and smaller leather goods are on the horizon. the company is in amsterdam but will ship to the u.s. for free! trash runs about $500...not bad for such a beautiful bag. i really want the cognac with khaki lining.
