blood is the new black has partnered with i make my case (mobile accessories) and coolhaus (custom ice cream sandwiches) for the summer fling truck. "this idea came to me while i was at an art event buying a taco from a food truck that was outside the gallery," said mitra khayyam, founder/curator of blood is the new black, who works with independent artists to create her iconic tees. "i realized i wanted to bring my teees to fans as easily as i was getting my taco, right there on the curb. partnering with i make my case and coolhaus just made sense. we are all about summer, being outside, shopping, eating, and more importantly, having fun."
