rachel mcadams in elie saab haute couture/kristen stewart in monique lhullier
maggie gyllenhaal in dries van noten/meryl streep in chris march/carey mulligan in prada
jennifer lopez & amanda seyfried in armani privé/charlize theron in dior
sarah jessica parker in chanel haute couture/zoe saldana in givenchy/vera farmiga in marchesa
i guess the moral of the story is that sometimes things look better on the runway and in editorials but not necessarily on the red carpet. the chanel dress is really gorgeous but she looks dreadful in it and it isn't doing her any favors. the molded armani just looks uncomfortable but i'm not really a fan of molded bodices. and what can you say about charlize? very unfortunate.
on the other hand rachel, kristen & carey all look young and fresh and still elegant and i love that maggie always wears the unexpected. i'm sure she will end up on a lot of worst dressed lists but i think she looked fab. and for once, everyone will agree that meryl streep looks fab. i just love her so i don't care what she wears.
