r.i.p. jennifer jones
the beautiful and the damned .... beautiful and talented, jennifer jones had a tumultuous private life: she left her husband robert walker for producer david o. selznik (who was married at the time). her ex, walker, died at 32 in 1951 of alcoholism caused by jones leaving him. her only daughter with selznick committed suicide in 1976. jones attempted suicide in 1967..... she became a virtual recluse and married industrialist and art collector norton simon in 1971 and was the chairwoman of his norton simon museum in pasadena, ca. she won on oscar for best actress in "the song of bernadette" and was nominated for 4 others. my favorite film of hers was "duel in the sun". definitely worth renting! she was 90.

i haven't posted alot of pre-fall - i haven't been that excited except for a few things here or there. i really like the rag & bone pre-fall collection. lots of wearable pieces that will transition seasons...plus i TOTALLY agree with the quote above. the industry has to start changing.
